The Tribunal may hold a hearing into a complaint to decide if there was discrimination.
Hearings are open to the public. You are welcome to come to a hearing. Watching a hearing can be a good way to get ready for your own hearing.
Before you come to watch a hearing, contact us to make sure the hearing will proceed. Many complaints are settled before the hearing begins.
If the hearing is proceeding virtually by videoconferencing, members of the public wishing to attend will need to request telephone access more than one week before the hearing starts.
Go to the BC Human Rights Tribunal hearing schedule to learn what hearings are scheduled.
